What does this photo mean to me? I captured this photo while I was on an island in the Pacific; when I first noticed these rocks it instantly made me think "ring of fire" which means "a horseshoe-shaped geological zone around the Pacific Ocean known for frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions", ironically later in my trip just a few short days later on December 17, 2024 I was left stranded in a natural disaster in one of the largest most damaging earthquakes in the countries history. Was me noticing this foreshadowing? I actually had to be evacuated by the Australian Air Force as an American after being stranded for nearly 4 days. Photo taken in Port Vila, Vanuatu.
